Agentic Layer Overview
The Agentic Layer combines metadata, configuration, code, and activity data into a single, structured model that AI agents can query, analyze, and act upon.
Each agent uses Sweep’s underlying data model to analyze your org in real time, surface insights, and answer questions in natural language.
The Agentic Layer turns your documentation and process maps into actionable intelligence. Instead of manually searching for answers, you can ask questions like:
“What automations are triggered when a new Opportunity is created?”
“What could cause us to exceed Salesforce governor limits?”
“Can you review our Opportunity process for MEDDICC gaps?”
Sweep’s agents not only respond with context-aware answers but can also generate plans, tables, and recommendations directly from your org’s metadata.
There are three core agents that make up the Agentic Layer:
Documentation Agent
Monitoring Agent
Process Agent
Each serves a specific purpose but works together to help you understand, optimize, and protect your Salesforce environment.
How to Use the Agentic Layer
From the Sweep homepage, you can leverage the Agentic Layer in two ways:
Open-ended prompt, where you can ask your metadata anything.
Type directly into the search bar under “Ask your metadata anything.”
Use natural language, such as:
“List all automations on the Opportunity object.”
“Show me dependencies for the Lead conversion process.”
Sweep’s metadata agents will interpret the query and return context-aware results based on your org’s configuration.
Pre-built Prompt Library to explore curated use cases.
Click Prompt Library to browse categories like:
Org Health – audit Apex, Flows, and automation risks.

Select a prompt, customize parameters if needed, and run it directly.
Agentic Layer tab (all agents in one place): From the top navigation, click Agentic Layer to open your Agentic Center and see all available agents.
From the Sweep homepage, click Agentic Layer in the top navigation bar.
This opens the central hub for all your AI agents.
Select an agent and type your question or instruction in natural language.
