Sweep’s Documentation Agent helps you generate, maintain, and search documentation across your Salesforce configuration and processes. It's perfect for keeping your team aligned, onboarding new users, and ensuring changes are well-documented.

Step 1: Open the Agentic Center

From the top navigation bar, click on Agentic to access your Agentic Center.

Step 2: Select Documentation Agent

Select Documentation Agent to start exploring your org’s documentation.

Note: Each org has only one Documentation Agent. It reads from your org’s metadata and continuously reflects your current Salesforce setup.

Step 5: Personalize your agent

Click “Instructions” to give your agent more context on what it should look for and how it should behave. You can:

  • Use a tone suitable for onboarding a junior admin

  • Format output in bullet points with linked metadata where possible

  • Summarize this as an FAQ for customer support reps

Step 3: Explore or guide your documentation

Once everything’s set up, your Documentation Agent is ready to assist. You can explore documentation generated from your org’s metadata or ask the agent to:

  • Explain how a particular object, field, flow, or validation rule works

  • Summarize the structure of complex automations

  • Track dependencies across your configuration

  • Document business logic tied to specific record types or processes
