Deploying Configurations Across Environments

The Compare & Deploy Center makes it easy to select and deploy configurations to keep your Salesforce environments in sync. You can deploy configurations individually or as a group, streamlining the process of maintaining consistent setups across environments.

Selecting Configurations for Deployment

  1. Individual or Multiple Selection: Select configurations by checking the boxes next to each element. You can deploy configurations one at a time or in bulk for efficient syncing.

  2. Group Deployment: You also have the option to select entire groups (e.g., all automations, alerts) or Salesforce objects (e.g., all configurations under “lead” or “contact”), making it easy to synchronize related configurations together.

Deployment Process

  1. Review Changes Before Deploying: After selecting configurations, preview any changes with the diff view to ensure all details are correct.

  2. One-Click Deployment: Click the Deploy button in the top-right corner to begin deployment. For organizations with multiple environments, you may select the target environment before finalizing the deployment.

By using the Compare & Deploy Center’s deployment features, you can synchronize configurations quickly and accurately, maintaining consistency and alignment across Salesforce environments.
